Truenorth, an Icelandic production company that has worked on big, international productions such as The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, and the Wachowski sibling‘s series Sense8, will begin to shoot its first in-house production this summer.
The film, a romantic comedy entitled Fyrir framan annað fólk, or In Front of Others, is penned and directed by Óskar Jónasson.
The film tells the story of a shy, young man who attempts to charm a woman by imitating his boss, and stars Svandís Dóra Einarsdóttir, Snorri Engilbertsson, Hafdís Helga Helgadóttir, and veteran actor Hilmir Snær Guðnason. Production is expected to cost around 200 million krónur (1,331,557 euros/1,519,410 US dollars).
