According to Vísir.is, Rut is a university student who plans on going abroad in the future to study sexology.
During Guðni’s presidential campaign, Rut decided to temporarily delete her blogs and twitter account as she “didn’t want people to look at my dad with so much adoration and see me, a black sheep in the corner, and a dishonour to his noble cause”.
However, now she feels comfortable enough to continue her blogging and hopes that sharing her stories will brighten people’s days.
