The Þórsmörk Trail Volunteers have resumed work after a long and heavy winter. A group of volunteers is currently working on maintenance and landscaping around Hjálparfoss waterfall, located in Þjórsárdalur valley in South Iceland.

Last summer the volunteers, working with Skógrækt ríkisins (Iceland’s Forest Service), built new trails around Hjálparfoss. They plan to complete a wheelchair accessible trail to the waterfall this summer.
