Olga Vocal Ensemble is made up of five young men with roots in Iceland, Russia and the Netherlands. The boys met while studying music in Utrecht in the Netherlands and will be showcasing their talent, for the third summer in a row, here in Iceland, travelling across country singing in various towns and villages.
Their 27 July show in Reykjavík will be more than just a concert. The singers serve you a four-course meal between songs. In Reykjavik’s famous Iðnó, the five singers will fill your bellies with food and your hearts with song. This won’t be the first time Olga Vocal Ensemble takes on the role of waiters, but rather an experience they started in the Netherlands and are bringing to Iceland.
Established in 2012, Olga Vocal Ensemble has hosted numerous concerts in various countries since they first got together. This summer they’ll be travelling to France where they'll be sharing their love of folk music and performing with the French nation; and in 2017 they are headed to the United States where they’ll perform twelve times with the assistance of Baylin Artists Management.
