Halldór Warén and Sölvi Aðalbjarnarson seek to transform an old water-tank into an art gallery, reports Vísir. The water-tank is located near Þverklettar cliffs in Fljótsdalshérað, East Iceland, and was to be demolished.

According to Halldór the idea is to place sculptures created by Sölvi on top of the tank, while the inside will house a photo exhibition or a periscope which will allow guests to experience the area as it was around the time of settlement.
Gunnar Jónsson, the director of Hitaveita Egilsstaða og Fella, the district heating company, the pairs request is currently being reviewed.
