Northern Lights lead tourists astray 1995

According to Vísir.is the Selfoss police department in South Iceland had to assist holidaymakers yesterday that had gotten their cars stuck. A spokesperson for the police department explains that tourists do not anticipate how quickly weather conditions on mountain roads such as Lyngdalsheiði, Hellisheiði and Holtavörðuheiði can change. Travellers on the hunt for the Northern Lights often find themselves in a tight corner.
