A new lodge has been erected near lake Langisjór in Vatnajökull National Park, Southeast Iceland. The lodge will accommodate toilets, indoor lunch facilities and a small information centre.
The house will be completed and ready for use next spring. Outdoor lunch facilities and a stone wall windbreak are to be constructed next spring and the nearby camping ground to be completed.
Lake Langisjór is in the south central highlands and is truly one of Iceland's most stunning places.
