It is going on two weeks now that 20,000 thousand high school students are out of school due to a strike. While negotiations between the Teacher’s Union and the State seemed to be getting somewhere on Monday, the chairman of the Association of High School Directors told visir.is that there had been little advancement in talks on Tuesday. He says he’s surprised by the State’s lack of interest in solving the dispute, but was hopeful that something noteworthy might happen today.
Negotiations were stopped at 5pm yesterday, earlier than usual, but started again at 10am this morning.
