According to Mbl.is, the Icelandic Naming Committee issued their list of approved and unapproved names on October 3. Boy names Mark, Kamal and Þóri were among approved names.
The names Clinton, Duane, Hector, Sveinnóli and Karma did, however, not make the cut. Neither did girl names Lady and Kaia.
