A Lithuanian national, Andrius Zelenkovas, who was reported missing earlier this week, was found safe yesterday, according to the Metropolitan Police. Police sent out a missing persons report on Wednesday, appealing to the public to come forward with any information about Andrius or his travels.

Zelenkovas, a 27 year old Lithuanian national, who has been living in Iceland since May was last heard from in early August. He was last heard from in early August when he got a lift from Reykjavík to Akureyri. When his family in Lithuania had not heard from him in several weeks and had been unable to trace his travels, his sister contacted the Metropolitan Police which immediately launched a search for the man.
Fortunately Zelenkovas was located safe yesterday. The Metropolitan Police would like to extend its thanks to the members of the public who assisted in the search.
