The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service reports that Ísold denies these allegations, saying the purpose of the visit to the prison was to document the prison, rather than the prisoners themselves. She adds that an employee of the prison followed them at all times during their stay at the prison. The producers of the movie contacted Sigurður Einarsson, the former Chairman of the Board of Kaupþing, requesting an interview, but that he denied this request, however she could not say whether other inmates at Kvíabryggja might have been interviewed about the jailed bankers.
