Puffins in Vestmannaeyjar islands, South Iceland, have begun to leave their burrows. Parents will leave their puffin chicks when it is around 40-days-old. The chicks will then walk or flap its way out to sea where it will dwell for the next years. However, some of the chicks will lose their way and end up in Vestmannaeyjar town, where locals will capture them, feed them, and have them weighed and measured before releasing them back to sea.
