The results show a significant fluctuation from year to year, corresponding to the average temperature and number of sunny days. The best summers since 2010 were 2010, when a full 95% of Icelanders said they were somewhat or very pleased with the weather during summer and 2016 when 94% were happy with the weather.
The worst summers since 2010 were in 2011 and 2012 when only 62% were pleased with summer. 2013 and 14 were less pleasant, as 44% and 45% said they were pleased with the weather in those years.
