The six houses, a replica of those that once formed the town’s centre, will house a restaurant and shops.
Suðureyri is a small fishing village located in the 13-kilometre-long (8 mile) Súgandafjörður fjord in the Westfjords. The town was quite isolated for years due to its location but is now connected to Ísafjörður, the region’s unofficial capital, by a 5-kilometre-long (3 miles) tunnel.
