The legendary Icelandic instrumental band Mezzoforte will come together to perform at two events in late May.
The band was formed in 1977 and its hit single ‘Garden Party’ sat at number 17 in the UK Singles Chart in 1983.
Band members include Eyþór Gunnarsson (which some may recognise as Sven from the Netflix series Sense8), Friðrik Karlsson, Gulli Briem, Jóhann Ásmundsson and Jonas Wall.
The concerts take place at Café Rósenberg (Klapparstígur 25-27, Reykjavík) on 26 May and at Græni Hatturinn (Hafnarstræti in Akureyri) on 27 May.
