The Icelandic number, No Prejudice by Pollapönk, is grouped with the Polish entry, We are Slovak – a video which focuses on objectifying women and turning traditional roles into something a little more sexy.
The betting houses, according to ruv.is, seem to agree with TV2’s predictions and are not optimistic about Iceland’s entry. Pollapönk is scraping the bottom of the barrel with entries from Georgia, San Marino, Switzerland, and Portugal. With ballads ruling this year’s competition, however, it’s certain that Iceland’s punk won’t go unnoticed.
