The Supreme Court in Iceland has allowed Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, to give testimony via phone in the case of Sigurður Ingi Þórðarson’s, also known as Siggi ‘the hacker’.
According to the National Broadcasting Service Sigurður Ingi faces charges of fraud, embezzlement, theft and vandalism. He is also accused of posing as Julian Assange in order to embezzle millions of krónur.
Sigurður Ingi was part of WikiLeaks’ inner circle for a while before becoming a paid FBI informant.
