Kex Hostel’s restaurant, Sæmundur í sparifötunum, and DILL restaurant are organising one hell of a BBQ on Friday, 3 June. The event takes place in Vitagarðurinn park, located behind Kex Hostel.

Joining Sæmundur í sparifötunum and DILL, is Danish chef Mads Batterfeld, who, consequently, is also the reigning Danish champion in pork barbequing. Yup, there’s such a title!
The chefs will follow a traditional heathen cooking method and roast the meat over an open fire. The menu will include lamb, pork, beef, and monkfish and halibut, organic wines and craft beers. The event is an “all you can eat” buffet
