The film takes us along the South Coast, with a stop at Skógafoss waterfall, the black sand beaches and Dyrhólaey, continuing to Þórsmörk and Landmannalaugar in the Central Highlands. Back then there were fewer bridged rivers, more single lane bridges. The landscape hasn't changed all that much!

The trip takes us from Landmannalaugar across Sprengisandur highland desert to North and North East Iceland, stopping at Mývatn, Húsavík and Akureyri, before returning to the South-West via Kjölur mountain road to enter the Golden Circle and finally wrapping up the amazing adventure in Reykjavík.
