A spokesperson for a group of entrepreneurs and investors who wish to build an express railway service between Keflavík International Airport and Reykjavík, says financing the project has been progressing nicely and claims investors have shown great interest in the venture.
According to Morgunblaðið newspaper linking Iceland’s only international airport to the capital will most likely not be as complex as previously thought. The express railway would run directly from Keflavík Airport to the centre of Reykjavík, partially running underground.
