Seven songs competed in front of a live audience on Saturday night. The runner-up was also composed by the same production team that is behind the winning song. The three young Icelanders, Sæþór Kristjánsson and brothers Ásgeir Orri Ásgeirsson and Pálm Ragnar Ásgeirsson, call themselves StopWaitGo and have produced several chart hits in recent years.
