Iceland did not progress into the grand-final of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest yesterday when the first semi-final was held in Stockholm, Sweden.
Singer and songwriter Gréta Salome, who performed the song “Hear them Calling”, told the National Broadcasting Service that she was pleased with yesterday’s performance despite the results.

“The only thing one can do is to give it your all. And I think we did that tonight,” she said.
The second semi-finals take place tomorrow, Thursday, while the grand-final will be held on Saturday.
