Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who was crowned the world's strongest man in 2018, stars in a new KFC ad for a double chicken burger called The Double Colonel. In the advertisement Hafþór plays a new strong-man version of the famous Colonel Sanders, the mascot of the chicken restaurant chain. In the ad Hafþór claims he left his home in Kentucky at a young age to move to the frozen mountains of Iceland, where he became The Double Colonel.

He then proceeds to pull a container filled with KFC sandwiches weighing 300 kg (661 lbs) 50 m (164 ft) across the floor of a studio.

The Mountain, who is best known for his role of Ser Gregor Clegane in the HBO series is no stranger to unusual challenges. He has previously competed in sports like washing machine tossing. Overcoming this latest challenge means Hafþór holds the world record in chicken sandwich pulling, as well as home appliance throwing.
