The site, malid.is, which is smart phone friendly, provides free access to a number of Icelandic dictionaries as well as a wide range of information about the Icelandic language. According to an announcement from the Árni Magnússon Instistue the website will be expanded to include even more databases relating to the Icelandic language, making it a one-stop destination for all questions relating to Icelandic spelling, grammar and word use.
