The Icelandic franchise Lemon Smoothie & Juice Bar is branching out to mainland Europe, reports the business newspaper Viðskiptablaðið. The restaurant aims to open its first European franchise in Paris on the 1st of March.
The Paris restaurant is owned and run by Eva Gunnarsdóttir and will be located at Rue des Petits Carreaux in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, which is one of the financial centres of Europe.
In addition to delicious smoothies and freshly-made juices, Lemon serves sandwiches and salads. The restaurant already has four locations in south Iceland: two in central Reykjavík, one in the Reykjavík suburb of Hafnarfjörður, and one in Reykjanesbær on the Reykjanes peninsula. The Paris outlet will be the 5th Lemon restaurant to open.
