Musician Ásgeir Trausti, known simply as Ásgeir in English, premiered the new music video for “King and Cross” on NPR today.
The Icelandic singer-songwriter, who won the Icelandic Music Award for best album of the year in 2012, has been compared to indie-folk artist Justin Vernon of Bon Iver.
“King and Cross” is included on Ásgeir’s second studio album, “In the Silence”. American singer John Grant helped with the English translation of the lyrics.
