Icelandic carrier Icelandair became the first European airline to offer Gate2Gate Wi-Fi on board their planes. Up until now, passengers have had to wait until the aircraft reches ten thousand feet before turning on the on-board Wi-Fi. Now, however, the Wi-Fi is available to passengers throughout their journey – from the moment they board the plane.
The Wi-Fi access is purchased on board. Saga Class passengers and Saga Gold members get complimentary Wi-Fi access for two devices.
