Reykjavík’s city council has approved two murals be installed by the Icelandic artist Erró in Breiðholt. Erró is Iceland’s most famous living artist and is known for his pop art style. Erró will handle the logistics and the arrangement of the art.
One of the murals will be placed on a 24 meter high apartment building and the other mural will be on sports facility in Breiðholt.
Erró will donate his work and the estimated costs of putting up the art murals will be around 38.8 million ISK (246.000 Euros/335.700$)
