Icelandic airline WOW will launch directs flights between Keflavík International Airport and Cork Airport in June 2017. Cork is Ireland's second largest city behind Dublin. WOW already offers direct flights between Iceland and Dublin.
The carrier will offer four weekly round-trips to Cork with connections via Keflavík International Aiport in Iceland to seven destinations in North America: Boston, Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York and Miami.
The travel dates will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
WOW already offers direct flights to 22 destinations in Scandinavia, the U.K. and Continental Europe.
WOW is a low-cost airline that has grown rapidly. It was founded in November 2011 and began its flight service in May 2012.
