Icelandair has cancelled 26 flights tomorrow, May 9, due to the strike actions of the Union of Iceland Pilots. The strike is planned to take place from 6AM in the morning until 6PM at night. Icelandair announced that they made the cancellations in order to give customers the opportunity to make the necessary arrangments. The cancellations will affect a total of 4500 passengers.

The strike scheduled for tomorrow is the first of five work stoppages if the pilots and the company are not able to reach an agreement. The dates for the scheduled strikes are:

May 16 6 AM to 6 PM
May 20 6 Am to 6 PM
May 23 6 AM to May 25 6AM
May 30 6 AM to June 3 6 AM
