Icelandair has opened a new exclusive lounge at Keflavík airport for it's Saga Class passengers. The lounge, which is called Saga Lounge, unifies Nordic design and a magnificent view of Icelandic landscapes, according to a statement from Icelandair.
The view from the lounge, located on the top floor of a new wing of the terminal, offers a view of the airport, Reykjanes peninsula and the mountains to its north, including Snæfellsjökull glacier at the tip of Snæfellsnes peninsula. The 1400 square meter (15,000 sq ft) lounge is twice as big as the earlier Icelandair Saga Class lounge, which was also located in the basement of the terminal.
Icelandair expects the lounge to be visited by 120,000 people each year.
