Flight attendants at Icelandair plan to strike tomorrow from 6am until midnight in an attempt to negotiate higher wages. The work stoppage could result in the cancellation of 60 flights if the group follows through with their proposed strike actions.
The 9000 passengers expected to fly with iceland air on Tuesday will be notified of the travel suspension, if the dispute is not revolved. According to Icelandair, all passengers can get their tickets refunded or change their flight at no charge.
The Icelandic government could also ban the strike in similar fashion to the pilot strike of last week. Updates on the proceedings will be given momentarily.
