Football player Rut Kristjánsdóttir lost a tooth when the Reykjavík football team Fylkir faced hosts ÍBV in Vestmannaeyjar islands yesterday.
According to Vísir.is, Rut lost a tooth after a clash with one of ÍBV’s players and was left lying in agony on the field. Luckily, Iceland manager and dentist Heimir Hallgrímsson was present at the game and attended to the injured player. He then led Rut off the pitch and drove her to his office where he quickly fixed her tooth.
Rut tweeted a photo from her visit to Heimir’s office with the caption: “Sometimes he’ll manage Iceland during an international championship and sometimes he’ll drive me to his office and fix a tooth. Whataman.”
Stundum kemur hann Íslandi á stórmót & stundum skutlar hann mér á stofuna sína til að troða tönn aftur í. Whataman. pic.twitter.com/NrvWCm747S
