Eurosonic takes place in the Dutch city of Groningen and is Europe’s largest annual showcase festival. Organizers maintain they are responsible for kick-starting the careers of popular European acts like George Ezra, Hozier, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, MØ and the Icelandic musician Ásgeir, formerly known as Ásgeir Trausti.
