Iceland has the oldest average age of graduates at 30.7 years old, as students in the viking nation clearly hits their stride a little later in life.
However, this Icelandic incongruity does not seem to be a case of young Icelanders not attending secondary eduction. In 2012, 38.4% of 25-34 year olds in the Nordic nation had completed some sort of secondary education, which is only slightly below the average of 39.2%.
Thus, Icelanders stay true to their national motto of Þetta reddast (no worries) and graduate school at their own pace.
