American electronic music producer and DJ Skrillex performed at Sónar Reykjavík in 2015. The artist released a video yesterday on Youtube documenting his visit to Iceland.
In the video, Skrillex is seen visiting the famous Geysir geothermal area in South Iceland, the Blue Lagoon, and performing for a capacity crowd at the music festival. At one point the artist is heard saying: “I think you can almost touch heaven from Iceland”.
Sónar Reykjavík takes place on 18-20 of February 2016 in the Harpa Music Hall. This year’s line-up includes legendary electronic music artist Squarepusher, rapper Angel Haze, and Berlin-based musician Ellen Allien.
