Plans to build a new 116-room luxury hotel in Hnappavellir, Southeast Iceland, are progressing nicely, reports Mbl.is. The new hotel will be the latest addition to the Fosshótel hotel chain.
Construction is set to begin near the end of this year and is estimated to cost 1.3 billion krónur (8.427.330 euros/ 10.825.214 US dollars). The hotel will be conveniently located midways between Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Skaftafell National Park.
