Holuhraun volcanic pollution expected in West Iceland today but air quality should remain good 1937

Sulfur dioxide pollution from the Holuhraun eruption in the central highlands is expected west of the eruption site today (Thursday) and tomorrow. In the afternoon on Friday the pollution will drift more towards the northwest. 

Air quality should be good in all populated areas today according to the Icelandic Met Office's (IMO) interactive map.

GREEN      Good
YELLOW   Moderate
ORANGE  Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
RED            Unhealthy
PURPLE   Very Unhealthy
MAROON Hazardous
