High school teachers in Iceland returned back to school this morning after three-week strike.
The Teacher’s Union and the State reached an agreement on Friday ending a strike that started March 17th and caused 20,000 students to be out of school and around 1,500 teachers to be out of work.
The agreement secures high school teachers a gradual wage increase of 6.8% by October 31 2016.
