There will be considerable or heavy rain in Northwest Iceland today but according to the Icelandic Met Office (IMO) we can get out our shades again tomorrow (not East Iceland though, sorry).

Monday: Northerly winds, 10-18 m/s (22-40 mph/36-65 kmh) but 5-13 m/s (22-40 mph/36-65 kmh) in the southwest. Rain, considerable or heavy in the Northwest today. Less precipitation in the southwest until evening.
Tuesday: Northwest winds 8-15 (18-34mph/29-54 kmh) in the morning and widespread rain in the north and west, but mostly dry elsewhere. Decreasing wind and becoming fair in most places tomorrow afternoon, but starts to rain again in the Eastfjords tomorrow evening. Temperature 6 to 14 C (43-57 F), warmest in the southeast.
Wednesday: Southeast 5-10 m/s (11-22 mph/18-36 kmh) and fair but increasing wind in the south and southwest and becoming overcast with rain in the afternoon. Temperature 6 to 13 C (43-55 F), warmest in the northeast.
