The storm is expected to hit the South East first, at 3:00 in the morning severe gale with sustained wind speed of 15-23 m/s (x-x mph), with localized winds exceeding 30 m/s (x mph), especially near steep mountain sides and between Skaftafell National Park Center and Höfn. Winds of this magnitude can blow cars off the road: Show caution!
By 4:00 in the morning the storm will have brought gales and severe gales and a northeasterly snowstorm to the Eastfjords and coastal areas in the east. Travelers are warned to expect very limited visibility and deteriorating road conditions. By 6:00 in the morning the storm will have reached the North Eastern part of Iceland, with gales and snowstorm. Poor driving conditions with limited visibility.
