The Metropolitan Police has appealed to the public to help identify four men it is seeking in connection to a case the Police is investigating. Last week police put out a bulletin, soliciting help from the public identify three of the men, but yesterday a fourth man was added to the bulletin.
The Police has not said publicly why the men are being sought, but sources have told several local media outlets that the men are suspected of having stolen large sums of money from unsuspecting elderly women last weekend. The men appear to have been working together, following the women to checkout lanes in grocery stores where they memorized the pin-numbers the women used for their credit cards. They then approached the women outside the store and managed to pickpocket their credit cards and proceeded to an ATM where they withdrew large sums of money from the cards.
If you have any information about these men, believe you know who they are or where they could be found, please contact the Metropolitan Police by phone +354 444-1000, by email: adals[email protected], or through the Facebook page of the Metropolitan Police.
