Gray Line is scheduled to begin direct bus services between Keflavík International Airport and Akureyri, the unofficial capital of North Iceland, next spring.

The bus will run three times a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) during April and May and daily during the summer. The route will offer stops in Borgarnes, Staðarskáli road restaurant, Blönduós, and Varmahlíð.
A single fare ticket between Keflavík and Akureyri is 11,000 ISK (76 Euros/86 USD).
