ABC’s Good Morning America has returned to Iceland – this time to take viewers deep into a crevasse in Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, one of Vatnajökull’s many outlet glaciers. Amy Robach will report from Breiðamerkurjökull today, Wednesday, as a team of elite ice climbers venture down into the ice drop.
This is the second time Good Morning America broadcasts live from Iceland. Last year ABC News’ chief meteorologist Ginger Zee was present as a pair of drones flew above Bárðarbunga volcano and the massive Holuhraun lava field.
