This fantastic photo ot the Holuhraun eruption is among National Geographic editors' favorite submissions to the magazine's photo contest this year. It was captured by Israeli nature photographer Erez Marom who visits Iceland at least once a year, spending over a month taking photos.
Erez dedicates a great deal of his time to teaching and guiding and conducts workshops all over the world. He has two planned in Iceland early 2015, one is already sold out.
