Just a quick reminder for those of you who are visiting Iceland and are travelling around the southwest corner of the island. Today and tomorrow you will experience a rare thing, something that can be considered a real Icelandic heat wave with the mercury climbing all the way to 19 degrees Celsius (66 F) and even higher in some areas. Enjoy!
No such luck though in Northeast Iceland where it will be wet and frigid (8 C/46 F) considering it is high summer.
