Gas pollution from the Holuhraun eruption expected in West Iceland 1910

Today (Monday) gas pollution from the Holuhraun eruption is mainly expected in West Iceland. According to the Icelandic Met Office's (IMO) interactive map air quality should be good in most populated areas.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) the volcanic pollution is expected both in West and North Iceland.

  • YELLOW Moderate
  • ORANGE Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
  • RED Unhealthy
  • PURPLE Very Unhealthy
