Gas emissions from the Holuhraun eruption is expected to spread towards western and southwester regions of the country today (Tuesday, October 7).
According to the Icelandic Met Office’s website almost thirty earthquakes were detected since 7pm yesterday (Monday, October 6). Three were larger than M4.
Currently the eruption cannot be seen through webcams that are located in the area. However, the eruption seems to continue at a similar rate as before.
