Mono Town's debut album In the Eye of the Storm has been voted Iceland's best album of 2014 and their song Peacemaker the Best Rock Song of 2014.

Mono Town is is made up of vocalist and guitarist Bjarki Sigurðsson ands cousins, the multi-instrumentalist brothers Börkur and Daði, sons of Birgir.
