This year marks a 50-year anniversary of the sport in Iceland.
Blönduós town is located 240 km (149.1 mi) to the north of Reykjavík on Route 1 (the Ring Road),
Engines will be roaring at 13 (1pm) on Saturday. 18 drivers will negotiate six tracks. Tickets are 1.500 ISK (10EUR/11USD).
